You enter Villa Samudra through large wooden antique Chinese doors where you are greeted by a spectacular landscaped tropical garden with stepping stones that lead to The Octagon.  This building, with ancient windows and doors has been strategically built around a granite boulder with 100 year old teak roofing from the northern parts of Thailand.

The Octagon, a totally open plan living area, perched over the headland that offers breathtaking sea views & island views.  This room is complete with HD projector and large projection screen, ideal for families to enjoy watching a movie together.  The Octagon also contains a fully equipped kitchen and large balcony with dining table ideal for alfresco meals.

To the rear of this building you’ll find 2 spacious en-suite bedrooms, decorated using a mixture of antique, oriental treasures and modern convenience. The room is furnished with unique Chinese style lamps that hang beautifully from the heavy Takian beams.  The second bedroom is separated from the main bedroom by a large dressing room and outdoor bathroom with terrazzo bathtub, ideal as a  family suite.  Both rooms have ceiling fans and air-conditioning.

Just below the Octagon you’ll find a beautiful tropical garden with steps that lead to the Yoga Sala & the impressive 180 meter secluded beach.  From here a oceanfront pathway takes you to the garden suite, a private en-suite bedroom with a spacious living area, terrace lawn, balcony & spectacular sea & island views.

From here steps lead up to the large infinity edge swimming pool, complete with sun beds & parasols.  To the side of the pool is the ‘Dining Sala’ with dining table capable of seating up to 24 people, an ideal social spot or to enjoy dinner & watch the sun go down.

To the rear of the swimming pool you have the fascinating 100 year old Bali Temple.  This incredible building has Takian wooden boat floors, carved teakwood paneling & vaulted ceiling with a projector screen & seating area.  Behind this room two further en-suite bedrooms can be found, both beautifully decorated with a mixture of ancient fixture & fittings from China & India.

Heading back towards to the villa entrance, hidden among the tropical gardens, a further two en-suite bedrooms can be found.
